AI GIF Generator

Describe the loop you want and get a GIF. The looping and the file conversion happen for you, so there is no video to download and convert afterwards.

What stays, what changes

  • Kept: the motion, the timing, the framing, and who is in the shot.
  • Changed: the style — colors, lines, shading, texture.
  • Free tier: short clips at 720p with a watermark. No card needed.

What is the GIF generator?

A GIF is a short looping animation that plays automatically anywhere an image can go - chat, docs, README files - with no player and no click. This generates one directly from a description, so there is no video file to download and convert afterwards.

How the GIF generator works

  1. 1

    Describe the loop

Short and repetitive works best - a cat tapping a keyboard, a coffee cup steaming, a logo pulsing.

  2. 2

    Generate

    About a minute.

  3. 3

    Download

A GIF, ready to drop into a chat or a doc.

Frequently asked questions

Why a GIF instead of a video?

GIFs autoplay and loop everywhere - chat, docs, README files, forums - without a player or a click. The trade-off is file size and colour, which is why they stay short and small.

How long can the GIF be?

A few seconds. GIF is an inefficient format; a long one becomes a huge file that half the places you want to paste it will reject.

Can I turn my own video into a GIF?

Not yet - this generates from a prompt. Converting a file you already have is a different thing and we have not built it.
