AI Hair Color Changer

Upload a photo and pick a colour. You get a few seconds of video instead of a flat mock-up, which is the only way to see how a colour actually moves and catches light.

What stays, what changes

  • Kept: the motion, the timing, the framing, and who is in the shot.
  • Changed: the style — colors, lines, shading, texture.
  • Free tier: short clips at 720p with a watermark. No card needed.

What is the hair colour changer?

An AI hair colour changer shows you a different hair colour on your own photo. Doing it as video rather than a still matters more than it sounds - colour reads differently when hair moves and catches light, which is exactly what a flat mock-up cannot show you.

How the hair colour changer works

  1. 1

    Upload a photo

Face toward the camera, hair fully in frame, even light. Hair tied up or heavily shadowed is the usual reason a result looks wrong.

  2. 2

    Name the colour

Be specific - "ash blonde", "copper with warm highlights" beats "lighter".

  3. 3

    Generate

    About a minute.

  4. 4

    Download

A short clip you can show a stylist or sit on for a week before deciding.

Why use this one

Motion, not a flat overlay

Colour reads differently when hair moves and catches light. A still mock-up hides that.

Keeps your face

Only the hair changes. The point is that it still looks like you.

As many colours as you want

Run the same photo through a few and compare before booking anything.

What people use the hair colour changer for

Before the salon

Show the stylist a clip instead of describing a colour with words.

Talking yourself into it (or out of it)

Most people sit with the clip for a few days. That is the point.

Clients

Stylists use it to show an option without touching anyone's hair.

Frequently asked questions

How realistic is it?

On a clear, front-facing photo in even light, close. It gets less convincing with tied-up hair, heavy shadow, or when the target colour is very far from your natural one - bleaching black hair to platinum is the case it gets least right, and it is also the case where real results vary most.

Does it work for hair the colour it already is?

There is no point - upload the photo and you already have the answer. It is most useful for a colour you have not tried.

Can I change the hairstyle too?

Not reliably. This changes colour. Asking for a different cut in the prompt usually produces something that no longer looks like you.

Is it a substitute for a real consultation?

No. A clip cannot tell you how a colour sits against your skin tone in daylight, or whether your hair will take the dye. Use it to narrow the shortlist, then go talk to someone.
